KRIS Likes…Flower Arrangements

Portfolio of Paila + Martha Pacific Heights Residence Kitchen

“When you only have two pennies left in the world, buy a loaf of bread with one, and a lily with the other.” – A Chinese Proverb

Using flower arrangements to enhance the beauty and ambiance of any interior is not a novel concept among interior designers and yet, after every install I find myself amazed by how important this natural element in a room really is. An ethereal arrangement of long stems gracefully arching out of a trumpet vase or a massive gathering of a single type of flower can add instant beauty and warmth to a room that could otherwise feel cold and lifeless. They can also be a great way to add a punch of color to any space! Some would even argue that flowers can be just as important of a design element as a perfectly placed sofa. Below are a few pictures of beautiful arrangements from some of my favorite interior designers…. enjoy!
