Michele Varian is an unquestionably unique decorative home accessories store located on 35 Crosby Street (between Broome and Grand) in Soho. Michele Varian, who describes herself as, “an artsy egghead who could spend hours looking at art books, drawing and reading everything in her parents library.” opened the store to showcase her collection of decorative pillows that she makes in her studio behind the store. Every object seems to have been carefully selected or handcrafted by Michele. Still, this whimsical store with its vintage charm seems to have something for everyone (and a wide-ranging price point to match). If you don’t live in New York, not to fret!
